The assignment

The inventory work needed a consistent method for identifying and documenting equipment, with processes that could support both warehouse and mobile inventory activities.

My role and scope

I took over the implementation from the previous project manager and led a six-person team. US$6.5 million is the value of the equipment being inventoried.

My contribution

  • Took over the implementation from the previous project manager.
  • Led six people in labelling and documenting the equipment.
  • Developed a mobile inventory methodology alongside the warehouse inventory system.

How the work connected

Retrospective summary prepared for this portfolio.

Team execution
Led the labelling and documentation work across six team members.
Warehouse inventory
Established a structured inventory method for equipment accountability.
Mobile inventory
Developed a mobile methodology alongside the warehouse system.
The outcome

Established traceable inventory control and a structured method for validating equipment.

What this work demonstrates

The project demonstrates ownership of a practical operational problem, coordination of a delivery team and attention to repeatable processes. The US$6.5 million figure is equipment value, not a project budget.

About the evidence

Retrospective summary from project history. The asset value and team size describe the scope; no project-budget, financial-savings or cycle-time claim is made.
